Deconstructed Realities:

Initiated in 2022, this series delves into profound explorations of transience, the ephemeral nature of existence, the echoes of past lives, fleeting captured moments, and the pervasive influence of our heavily mediated society. Narratives are meticulously woven through the deconstruction of multiple images, metaphorically illustrating the detachment of meaning amid the constant barrage of visual stimuli. This approach underscores the challenge of discerning individual elements, disrupting the linear progression of time and the conventional confines of physical space.Initiated in 2022, this series delves into profound explorations of transience, the ephemeral nature of existence, the echoes of past lives, fleeting captured moments, and the pervasive influence of our heavily mediated society. Structural Abstraction

” My compositions relate to both art and life, and as the American artist Rauschenberg stated, ‘Neither can be made- I try to create my art in the gap between the two’. “

Many ideas permeate my work, involving visual responses to urban and rural landscapes, as well as the decline of industry and structures. I incorporate allusions and nuances of historical, political, and social references, embedding them into the fabric of my compositions. The use of appropriated imagery is not uncommon in certain aspects of my work, particularly in digital compositions. I create tension and interesting contrasts within my layered artworks by juxtaposing and integrating sources alongside my first-hand observations. Linear and structural elements serve as critical visual devices, and the inclusion of typography and text enhances the overall textural quality of my pieces.
